How do I add my first book?
Open your library and choose the add-book action. Enter a title manually, or scan an ISBN when camera scanning is available. Check edition details before saving. You can keep entering books without online lookup.
Can I use it offline?
You can view, search, and edit saved local records offline. Online catalog lookup, optional iCloud sync, and Apple purchase services require a network connection.
How do I back up my collection?
Use the full-backup option to export library records and cover images. Keep the file somewhere you trust. CSV is useful for a book list, but is not a complete library backup. Review a backup before restoring it.
What if I deleted a book?
Check Recently deleted and restore the record if it is still available. Recovery history and earlier full backups may offer other copies. Avoid replacing your only good backup when troubleshooting.
How do I manage data and permissions?
Edit or delete records in the app and change camera, photo, or notification permissions in system settings. Disabling optional iCloud sync does not erase cloud data. See the privacy policy for retention and deletion details.
